The Mulberry Bush is a registered Private Day Nursery located on North Road in East Belfast. Having served the local community for almost 30 years, we pride ourselves on the level of care provided to each and every one of our children. We care for children from the age of 6 weeks until 5 years, providing a safe, warm and loving environment for them to develop as individuals.
The Mulberry Bush is a sole ownership operating business. We are NOT part of a chain. Let our family look after your family.
Management Team
Judith McKee - Proprietor
Judith is a mother of three and a grandmother of five. She is a qualified teacher, having taught Home Economics and Childcare at Methodist College Belfast for 14 years, prior to opening The Mulberry Bush.
Judith has dedicated the last 28+ years to providing a friendly family atmosphere based on warm and caring relationships between our staff and children.
Fiona Dickson - Manager
Fiona is Judith's younger sister. She is a mother of two. Before joining The Mulberry Bush, she was a Manager for a large shipping line.
Fiona has a diploma in Childcare and Education.
We have an exceptionally low staff turnover.
Social Services require that nurseries have a minimum of 50% qualified staff in attendance. The Mulberry Bush exceeds this, we always have a minimum of 75% qualified staff in attendance.
Our staff keep up to date with regular training in Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Playwork qualifications.
